Automated processing of accounting data - current situation and trends

This bachelor thesis entitled "Automated accounting data processing - current status and trends" deals with the automation of accounting processes in the newly established accounting department. The aim of this work is to evaluate the current state of accounting data processing in this accounting department and to propose recommendations for streamlining work and facilitating the implementation of accounting operations in the SAP program using modern technologies.

The Specifics of Accounting in an Agricultural Enterprise with a Focus on Processing Accounting Data in the Accounting Program

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to analyze the specifics of accounting in an agricultural enterprise with a focus on stocks, evaluate the accounting program used in a selected agricultural enterprise and suggest opportunities for improvement in the automated processing of accounting in agriculture. The company Farma Chvalšiny was chosen for this thesis, which uses the accounting program U64 together with the program AG info. The functions of the programs have been described with the help of pictures with captions, which describe in detail how the process works, what needs to be filled in and what is filled in automatically. After characterizing the program, it was possible to determine its advantages and disadvantages and suggest opportunities for improvement. In conclusion, the U64 program is especially suitable for small companies that process smaller amounts of data, and its biggest advantage lies in the author of the program, who is also a tax advisor to the company, and therefore it is possible to solve any problem with the program at any time. On the contrary, its biggest disadvantage is probably the operation in the DOS system, which is very slow and outdated, so converting the program to Microsoft Windows would be the most fundamental way to improve.

Usability of Selected Accounting Software in an Accounting Entity

This bachelor thesis deals with an analysis of the current state of a company from the point of view of accounting software usability as well as the selection process of a new economic system for the particular company. The thesis is divided into two parts. The theoretical part of the thesis summarises the bookkeeping obligations, the tax records and it also describes the topics related to accounting software and its usability. The practical part introduces a particular company for which the selection of accounting software is made. On the basis of the specific needs of this company and a list of tools, which this company uses for accounting operations, an evaluation is carried out. A comparison of different types of accounting software follows. The conclusion of the thesis summarises the entire process and the comparison results, and a most suitable economic system is recommended.

Processing of Closing Accounts and Financial Statements in the Accounting Program on a Sample of an Enterprise

As a result of the development of information technology, accounting programs are also developing. Right choice of accounting program together with a qualified employee guarantees not only time and cost savings, but also faster financial decision making. The aim of the bachelor thesis is to evaluate the usability of the accounting program within the processing of closing accounts and financial statements in the selected company. In the practical part the following methods are used: analysis and comparison method, guided interview, paired comparison method (Fuller's triangle) and synthesis. The conclusion of the work includes recommendations to improve the current state of the accounting program.

Accounting Data in an Agricultural Company and their Processing in the Accounting Program

The main topic of this bachelor thesis is to analyze the possibilities and use of the accounting program for a selected agricultural company. The work is based on information provided by selected farms. These are mainly invoices received and issued and property cards. The thesis contains a theoretical part, where the reader gets acquainted with the specifics of accounting in the agricultural enterprise, valuation of acquired assets, cost calculations, depreciation of assets. Another part is the division of animal and plant production, which are specific to business in agriculture. The practical part is focused on the selected company and its subsequent characteristics, together with a description of the accounting program used by this entity. This part also includes examples of accounting procedures and defining advantages and disadvantages of the program when processing accounting data. Finally, the thesis focuses on possible improvement in the field of accounting data processing for the selected company.

Benefits of the Use of Corporate Information System SAP Business One for Medium Businesses

This bachelor thesis deals with corporate information system SAP Business One, compares this system with accounting program STEREO and analyzes consequences of using SAP in the selected medium business. This bachelor thesis finds out strengths and weaknesses of this system. This work compares programs SAP Business One and STEREO on the base of basic accounting operations: establishing a new business, initial states, establishing business partners, buy and sell, warehouse operations, acquisition and disposal of fixed assets, human resources, banking processing and cash register. Information about program SAP Business One were found in the selected medium business, information about program STEREO were found from trial version of program. Program SAP Business One is more difficult than program STEREO, offers more options and more accounting operations. Both programs are clear and understandable. Both programs offer help and are well adapted to user needs. The big difference in programs is their price. The main advantage of the program SAP Business One is that it is used all over the world. The selected company has workers and business partners abroad, therefore is very important access to the program from any country. The selected medium business is satisfied with the use of program SAP Business One. The program is fast and reliable and it can be used by foreign users.

The use of accounting software AGROSOFT in cooperative farm

The bachelor thesis aimes at defining and describing the specifics of accounting in agriculture, the valuation of acquired assets, incidental acquisition cost and their payment. The general calculation formula and individual methods of calculation are described there. This thesis continues with characteristic of the specific cooperative farm and characteristic of the accounting software AGROSOFT. It also contains an assessment of the advantages and disadvantages of this program and it suggests some improvements in automated processing accounting and registration of animals in the selected company. Finally it is intended particularly to analyse the options and the use of the software. It introduces some specific examples of accounting procedures in animal farming and the extent registration to which the company uses the software.

Supplier-customer relationships and their solutions in an automated data processing

In each accounting unit the suppliers and customers are considered as a very important unit. Through their relationships the company tries to achieve the greatest profits and maximize the market value of products. The following subsystems: CRM - Customer Relationship Management and SCM - Supply Chain Management help to address this issue in the context of enterprise information systems. The aim of this bachelor thesis is the analysis of supplier-customer relationships in the selected company and to evaluate of their accounting software. The following methods are used in the practical part: a method of analysis and synthesis and SWOT analysis. In the end of the thesis are recommended proposals to create clearer communication between the company and its business partners and better use of subsystems.

Data processing in accounting programs

This thesis compares and assesses accounting data processing in two chosen programmes Pohoda and Ekonom. The first part of thesis is a literary summary of the theme historical progress of the accounting, particular phases of the progress included, and describes economical infor-mation systems and general standards for the right choice of accounting programme for a firm. In the second part the author compares and describes both of the programmes, describes the way of data processing in programmes Ekonom and Pohoda. The analysis goes in the module of billing, stocks and pay. The author assesses both of the programmes and compares their methods. In the next part of the thesis are given advantages and disad-vantages for users. The last part of thesis describes a concrete firm, her way of account-ing processing included. On the basis of the price calculation of the programmes the author will recommend a system for the accounting data processing.
